Adam is a member of music staff at Barton Peveril 6th Form College in Hampshire. and teaches Orchestral Percussion for youngsters across the county. From 2009 to 2024, he was a member of the Leadership Team for Hampshire Music Service and taught percussion, World Music and brass in Hampshire. Before that, he taught in East London. He was visiting Teacher of Orchestral Percussion for Peter Symonds College in Winchester from 2016 to 2023. He founded the Hampshire Percussion Ensemble in 2013 and the Hampshire Percussion Centre in 2015. Adam is passionate about inspiring the next generation of orchestral percussionists and equally enjoys teaching beginners and advanced students – and learning from them too! You can find his former students playing professionally, including in the bands of the Royal Marines and in Conservatoires around the country. His tutor book, My First Multi-Mallet Book is published by Southern Percussion.
